Fit
Featuring 12-mm nose pads, Raised Fit frames sit higher on your face than Standard Fit ones.
If you have high cheekbones relative to your nose bridge, or glasses often slide down your nose, sit on your cheeks or move when you smile, our Raised Fit frames offer long-lasting comfort. A happy customer named Dory once said, "They pass the smile test!"
Tiffany wears Raised Fit.
Standard Fit frames, on the other hand, are perfect for you if you have a high nose bridge relative to your cheekbones.
Zenos wears Standard Fit.
Apart from the nose pad, Raised and Standard Fit frames are identical.
We came up with Raised and Standard Fit because Singaporeans are super diverse, and so are our noses.

Frame Size
To find your ideal frame size, you can measure the frame width of your current sunglasses and compare it with our three sizes:
- Original (143 mm wide)
- Tailored (136 mm wide)
- Small (132 mm wide)
Please measure. Doing so helps you know with certainty which frame size to choose.
Generally, we recommend women try Original because it offers a flattering, slightly oversized look. Based on our sales data, most female customers prefer Original: in fact, more than half of those who initially order Tailored find it too small and end up exchanging to Original.
With male customers, our data shows half of them liking Original and the other half preferring Tailored.
Pro tip: measure your glasses and refer to this diagram.
Our Sizes: A Brief History
In 2017, we launched Rocket with only one frame size: Original (143 mm wide). Slightly oversized, Original suited men and women in Singapore, most of whom prefer a medium to large fit.
As soon as we expanded overseas to Australia and the U.S., however, we noticed a trend: 95% of returned orders came from white male customers who wanted smaller Rockets.
L to R: Mahogany Tortoise (Original), Hunter Green Clear (Tailored) and Crystal (Small)
Based on this feedback, we created two smaller sizes: Tailored (136 mm wide) and Small (132 mm wide).
If you like the standard glasses frame size found in most Western countries, choose Tailored.
If you need narrow frames, try Small but believe us: it's small. A customer named Natalie from Australia once emailed us about her Small Rockets with the subject line "too small!!" We believe this statement is accurate for most individuals.
Currently, all our frames are available in Original, while a select number are available in Tailored and Small. You can see the colours with smaller sizes here.

If you have any questions at all, please contact us at help@rocketeyewear.com. We will answer them!
We're Ming and Shing, a brother-and-sister team from Singapore. Between us is our mum, whose knack for losing her sunglasses in extraordinary places inspired us to start The Rocket Eyewear Company.
On her return from the temple of Nagadeepa in Sri Lanka's Jaffna peninsula, she accidentally left her shades in a boat. In Lalibela, Ethiopia, she took them off inside the Church of St. George and never saw them again. While she was riding a chairlift up Corviglia in St. Moritz, Switzerland, they slipped off her lap and disappeared into deep powder snow. The list continues...
Every time she loses a pair, she returns to her favourite P3 shape - a classic, round frame originally designed for U.S. soldiers during WWII and worn by 1950s movie stars like Grace Kelly, Gregory Peck and James Dean.
As a gift for Mum, we re-designed her signature P3s with a travel-inspired twist and named them after her initials: MTO. She liked them so much she wanted two. So we made more, and we hope you like them too!

En Ming Ong
Ming was born in Singapore and studied Economics at Harvard College. He climbs stairs two at a time, grabs Cheetos by the handful and loves ice-cold G&Ts. He came up with the idea for Rocket after "borrowing" a pair of classic sunglasses he found in his mum's car.
Ker-Shing Ong
Shing was born in London and studied Fine Arts at Harvard College then Architecture and Landscape at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Alongside her husband, she runs award-winning Singapore-based Lekker Architects. She has four kids: three human, one canine (not pictured).
A 360° degree view of our MTO P3 Classic Hunter Green Clear sunglasses
- The MTO offers a classic, understated look for men and women: it is based on the P3, a round frame shape designed for U.S. soldiers during WWII and worn by 1950s Hollywood movie stars like Grace Kelly and James Dean.
- Two fits (Raised and Standard), three sizes (Original, Tailored and Small) and 40 color combinations ensure a personalized fit for your unique facial features and tastes.
- Polarized CR-39 lenses with anti-scratch coating provide 100% UVA/UVB protection, glare elimination and maximum visual clarity.*
- Handcrafted premium acetate frames are sturdy, lightweight (only 29 g) and easy to adjust by hand without requiring heat.
- Five-barrel stainless-steel hinges reinforce structural integrity, while an engraved ridge detail on the inner temple tips prevents slipping.
*Polarized lenses can enhance vision when outdoors but are not for everyone. When you wear polarized lenses and look at your phone or car windows, you may see "rainbows." This effect occurs when you see other polarized surfaces through your polarized lenses.
In fact, pilots cannot wear polarized sunglasses because their cockpit and dashboard screens are also polarized—and we wouldn't want our pilots seeing too many rainbows while flying!
You can order our sunglasses with prescription lenses.
To get started, please click the "Add Prescription Lenses" button, which appears just below "Add to Cart," and follow the instructions to submit your prescription and choose your lenses.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at help@rocketeyewear.com.
If you prefer your Rockets feeling more snug or looser, there are two easy ways you can adjust them for a more personalised fit. In the video below, we show you step-by-step how to adjust your Rocket frames.
If you like them more snug...
Step 1: Bend temple arms inward so that they hug the sides of your head.
Step 2: Bend temple tips downward so that they sit closer to the curve of your ear.
If you like them looser...
Step 1: Bend temple arms outward so that they straighten and don't press against the sides of your head.
Step 2: Bend temple tips upward so that they flatten and don't feel like they're digging into the back of your ears.

If you have any questions, email us at help@rocketeyewear.com. We’d be happy to guide you through how to adjust your Rockets over a video call.
P.S. If you don't feel comfortable adjusting your Rockets yourself, feel free to bring them to us or any optician. We'd be more than happy to adjust them for you.
It may seem counterintuitive to give you reasons to not get Rockets, but we realize that ordering glasses online before trying them can take a leap of faith, and we want to help you make an informed decision.
To that end, here are the three most common reasons a small number of people—about 1 in 50—return their Rockets after trying them.
1. "They're too small (or big)."
Ideally suited to individuals with medium to medium-large heads, our Original frame size (53-20-145; 143 mm wide) offers a slightly oversized look. However, if you want bold statement-making frames, Rockets may be too understated.
On the flip side, some individuals have found Original too big, which is why we released Tailored (49-20-145; 136 mm wide) and Small (47-20-140; 132 mm wide).
Click here to see a collection of frames available in Tailored and Small.
2. "The shape doesn't suit me."
We believe that Rockets look great on a wide variety of faces. Our frame is based on the P3, a classic shape originally designed for U.S. soldiers during WWII and worn by Hollywood stars of the 1950s. But Rockets aren't for everyone, and you may not like them if you dislike roundish lenses.
3. "They still sit on my cheeks."
Our 12-mm-tall Raised Fit nose pads position the frame higher on your face and away from your cheeks. However, if your cheekbones are as high as your nose bridge, Raised Fit Rockets may not pass your smile test.

Occasionally, an address may be outside DHL or FedEx's delivery network. If this happens, we'll send you an email with alternative shipping options, including free delivery by postal service.
P.S. DHL and FedEx require your phone number, which is why request it during checkout.
Can you deliver to P.O. boxes?

Should I be present to receive my delivery?
We recommend you elect to receive your parcel in person to prevent the risk of loss or theft.
Easy 30-Day Returns
How does your 30-day return policy work?
If you're not 100% happy with your Rockets, you can contact us at help@rocketeyewear.com to exchange or return them for a full refund within 30 days of receipt.

Finally, please make sure that the item(s) you want to return are in original condition.
